Font color

You can change settings for the entire document, for the portion of the document following the cursor or for selected text. If you want to apply the changes to the document starting at the cursor, place your cursor at the starting point before proceeding with the following directions. If you want to apply the changes to a portion of the document, select (highlight) the text to be modified before proceeding.

1Click Format, Font, Font (or press Ctrl+T) to access the Set Font dialog. (The Set Font dialog may also be accessed from within certain other dialogs.)
2Click on the desired font in the Font window of the Set Font dialog.
3Click on the desired style in the Style window of the Set Font dialog.

You can click on more than one style (for example, italics and bold).

The Additive check box should be clear if you want the style you select to replace styles previously in place in the document and checked if you want the style you select to be in addition to styles already in place. See Additive/Non-Additive.

4 Click on the desired font size in the Size window of the Set Font dialog.
5Use the Render Case drop down list to select the desired character case. If you make a selection other than "as typed" it will override the way you type text.  For example, if you select All lowercase, then text will be displayed in Page Layout View and printed in lowercase letters even if you type a letter in uppercase.
6Use the drop down list to select the desired underline style.
7Click the Color button to change the font color.
8Click the Apply to field and choose one of the following options

Document Default - select font, font style and font size are made the default for the entire document

Insertion Point Forward - selected font, font style and font size are  applied from the place of cursor to the end of the document

Other options, such as Selected Text, may be available..

9 Observe the preview window to see how the selections effect your text. To implement the selections you have made, click OK.

The Set Font dialog cannot be used to add double underline and strike through. However, you can select these modes directly by clicking Format, Font and then the desired mode, or you can use keyboard shortcuts or the action line.
