The fourth tab of the Reference Style for Current Document dialog is used to for advanced options as follows:
Record Identification: Ibidem traditionally used record numbers only to identify which record in a database was being cited. This method is the second option. Beginning with version 9, the program can find a record by matching Author, Year and Title info even if the record number used when entering the citation differs with the correct record number in the database. Alternate Citation Formats: The second section of this tab will be active only if an alternate citation format has been defined for at least one record in the database. The three options listed refer to the “Cite Contents of Specific Field Instead … “ option on the Insert/Edit Citation dialog. For more information, see Alternate Citations.
