Reasons to Upgrade to Nota Bene 9.0

There are lots of different reasons why upgrading to the current version of Nota Bene, 9.0, makes sense. Among other things:
- Version 9.0 includes a wide range of very useful new features (the real-time spell checker, as well as the multilingual dictionaries (described on the same page) is particularly popular, but there are lots of other new enhancements, including very useful Ibidem features which let you stop worrying about keeping databases in synch, among others.
- It contains a new and improved help system which is, among other things, now fully compatible with Vista and Windows 7
- It has some fixes for new issues introduced in Windows 7, including one that prevents files from being opened properly in the File, Open dialog
- It comes with on-going free technical support (after providing it for over four years, we have discontinued free support for version 8.0)
- Upgrading also helps us move more quickly to our-next generation program, which will offer you and other NB users improved ease-of-use, aesthetics, and functionality, along with the ability to run on 64-bit versions of Windows 7 (also, we hope, on Macs and Linux boxes without requiring Windows, using WINE instead).
