Why the Dragonfly?

The dragonfly has a long Nota Bene history. In 1982, when we released our first version of Nota Bene, we were known as Dragonfly Software, and even after we dropped that name (to bring our company name into closer association with our flagship product) we retained the image in various advertising and promotional contexts. Many long-time Nota Bene users have fond memories of the dragonfly, as do we.
