Quick Open

 

The Quick Open dialog can be used to save up to 99 frequently used files and open any one of them quickly, without having to browse to the folder where the file is found.

 

To add a frequently used file to the Quick Open dialog:

 

1Open the file.
2Click File, Quick Open or press Ctrl+F9.
3 Click the Add Current button at the bottom left of the dialog.

 

The Up, Down, Update Order and Remove buttons are used to change the order of files that have been listed in this dialog and to remove files from this dialog.

 

To open one of the files listed in the Quick Open dialog:

 

1Click File, Quick Open or press Ctrl+F9.
2Click to highlight the file to be opened, or type the number of the file in the box above the # sign.
3 Click the Open button.

 

The Quick Open dialog also offers the following features. Click on the links below for instructions.

 

Search path: Open file by specifying name only.
Same name: Open file with same name as active file but in another folder.
Wildcard: Cycle through a group of files that have the same extension.
