Quick Open: Wildcard

Many Nota Bene users always use the default .nb extension for their Nota Bene files. However, some Nota Bene users organize their files by assigning different extensions to their Nota Bene files. If you use different extensions, you can use the Quick Open dialog to cycle through all of the files in a given folder that have the same extension.

1Click File, Quick Open or press Ctrl+F9 to open the Quick Open dialog.
2Type *.xyz in the box above the word File, where .xyz is the extension of the files you want to see.
3 Type the path in the box above the word Location. If the path has previously been added as a Search Path, this step can be omitted.
4Click the Open button. The first file with the extension that you specified will open. You can inspect and/or edit this file.
5 Press Ctrl+Shift+F9. The previous file will close automatically (you will be prompted to save any changes), and the next file with the extension that you specified will open. Continue pressing Ctrl+Shift+F9 to cycle through all of the files in the specified folder.
