The FL (flush left), FR (flush right) and FC (force center) commands are used to set the alignment.

3Type one of the following commands:
FL to align text with the left margin
FC to center the text

FR to align text with the right margin

4Press F10 to implement the command.

The JU (justify) command is used to justify text.

1Place your cursor at the beginning of the text you want to justify.  If you want to justify a block of text, define the block.
2 Press F9 to access the action line.
3Type JU
4Press F10 to implement the command.

The NJ (no justification) command is used to discontinue justification of text.

1Place your cursor at the place where you want the justification to end.
2 Press F9 to access the action line.
3Type NJ
4Press F10 to implement the command.

The LJ (line justify) command is used to align one line of text. Unlike most other embedded commands in Nota Bene, the LJ command affects only the line in which it is found, not the text on subsequent lines.  The LJ command can be used to align text with the left margin, the right margin, or to center the text on the line. You can use more than one LJ command to have text left-aligned, centered and right-aligned on the same line.

1Place your cursor at the beginning of the text you want to align. The text that you want to align should take up less than a full line, or the effects of the LJ command will not be visible.
2 Press F9 to access the action line.
3Type one of the following commands:
LJ 0 to align text on one line with the left margin
LJ 1 to center the text on one line
LJ 2 to align text on one line with the right margin
4Press F10 to implement the command.

Leaders can also be used to separate text that is flush left from text that is flush right on the same line. Two or more leaders on the same line will equalize the amount of space between words or small blocks of text on the same line. See Leader: LD command.
