Resizing Open File and Save As Dialogs

The Open File and Save As dialogs can be resized and repositioned. In general, it is recommended that you increase the size of your File Open and Save As dialogs, so that you can see more files and folders at the same time and navigate more easily to different folders on your computer. The ideal size will depend on your computer monitor. The Open File dialog is opened by clicking File, Open or by pressing Ctrl+O. The Save As dialog is opened by clicking File, Save As. Changes made to either of these dialogs will apply to both dialogs and Nota Bene will remember the new size and position so that it will be the same until you change it again.

To resize either of these dialogs:

1	Move the mouse pointer to any of the edges of the dialog, until you see that the pointer assumes the shape of a double-headed arrow.

2	Hold the left mouse button down while you use the mouse to move the border to a new position. Then release the mouse button.

The same procedure can be used to move the center border of the dialogs.

To reposition either of these dialogs:

1	Move the mouse pointer to the colored bar at the top of the dialog.

2	Hold the left mouse button down while you use the mouse to move the dialog to a new position. Then release the mouse button.
