The easiest way to open a database is to click File, and see if the database you want is listed at the bottom of the File menu. If it is, click on the database you want to open it.
A second method of opening a database is to use the Ibidem Gateway.
If you do not see the database that you want to open on the Ibidem Gateway, then Ibidem does not have a record of the location of the database. To record the location of the database files with Ibidem, see Add Database.
In Popup Ibidem, the database shown is the database that is associated with the open document. That database can be changed by clicking the Change Database button on the colored bar at the top of the dialog
