To close a file:
| 1 | Click the X on the tab for the file, or click File, Close or press Ctrl+F4 or click the Close button. |
| 2 | If you have not made any changes to the file, Nota Bene will close the file. If you have made changes to the file, Nota Bene will display the message: "filename has not been saved. Do you wish to save your work?" Click No to close without saving the file, Yes to save your file before closing or Cancel to continue working. |
You may choose if you want to receive warning messages by setting preferences. Click Tools, Preferences, Command Prompts, Set to access the Command Prompt Defaults. Make the appropriate choices and click OK.
You can also use the ab (abandon) command or the st (store) command to close a file. See AB and ST commands.
