Use the AB command (abandon) to close a file without saving.
The file will be cleared from screen and the window the file was in will close. You will only receive a warning message if you have made changes to the file. To clear the file from screen without verification type ab/nv. Nota Bene will clear the file from screen whether or not changes have been made.
Use the ST command (store) to save and close.
If you want to save the file to a different name or location and close it, add a space and the full path and file name after the st command. For example: st c:\nbwin\document\filename.nb
If you specify the file name, but not the location, the file will be saved in the default folder. Your default folder can be changed through the Tools, Preferences menu. st filename.nb
If there are spaces in the folder and/or file name, you must use quotes as follows: st "c:\nbwin\my files\file name.nb"
If you store a file to a new file name or to a different drive, Nota Bene does not save changes to the original file.
