This dragonfly photo was taken by a staff member at the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration The dragonfly has a long Nota Bene history. In 1982, when we released our first version of Nota Bene, we were known as Dragonfly Software, and even after we dropped that name (to bring our company name into closer association with our flagship product) we retained the image in various advertising and promotional contexts. Many long-time Nota Bene users have fond memories of the dragonfly, as do we. We’re in the process of expanding our newly reworked web site.
