The current default folder (or directory) is shown at the bottom of the Nota Bene screen on the status bar. The default folder is the folder that will be assumed if you issue a command on the action line and do not specify a folder. This can be changed as follows.
| 1 | Click Tools, Preferences |
| 2 | The Preferences dialog box will appear on your screen. Click to highlight Directory/Folder Default (Action line) and click the Set button. |
| 3 | The Default Directory dialog will appear on your screen. Use the tree of folders to find and highlight the folder you want to select as the default. Click OK. |
| 4 | The Preferences dialog box will reappear. Click Close. |
