Setting the Default Folder

 

The current default folder (or directory) is shown at the bottom of the Nota Bene screen on the status bar. The default folder is the folder that will be assumed if you issue a command on the action line and do not specify a folder. This can be changed as follows.

 

1Click Tools, Preferences
2The Preferences dialog box will appear on your screen. Click to highlight Directory/Folder Default (Action line) and click the Set button.
3The Default Directory dialog will appear on your screen. Use the tree of folders to find and highlight the folder you want to select as the default. Click OK.
4The Preferences dialog box will reappear. Click Close.
