Menus |

Like other Windows programs, Nota Bene provides the user with mouse-driven menus. Many of the menu commands are similar to other Windows programs and as such it is easy to begin using the program with the menus. Menus are accessed by moving the mouse to the desired topic and clicking the left mouse button. A drop down menu will appear. On drop down menus, move the cursor to the desired topic and then click the left mouse button. If you prefer to use the keyboard, Nota Bene menus can be directed without the mouse by pressing Alt + the underlined letter on the displayed menu. When the drop down menu appears, select the topic you want by typing the underlined letter. Short menus are available by clicking the right mouse button.
The font size of top-level and drop-down menus can be changed by clicking Tools, Preferences, Screen Display. The font size can be increased from 8 point to 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 or 14 point.
