Action Line |
|
The action line is usually located at the top right corner of the Nota Bene screen, but it can be moved to a different location by placing your cursor on the gray area around and next to the action line and holding the left mouse button down while you use the mouse to move to a different location. In versions 5 - 9 of Nota Bene, the action line was called the command line.
The action line is used by pressing F9 to move the cursor to the action line, typing a command and then pressing F10 or Enter to execute the command. For example, F9, NE, F10 will open a new untitled blank document. Commands in Nota Bene are not case-sensitive and can be typed in either upper or lower case.
For a general description of commands in Nota Bene including more information on the use of the action line, see NB Commands. For an alphabetical list of the Nota Bene commands, see NB Commands: alphabetical list.
Utility Dialog Bar: The Actions tab on the Utility Dialog Bar provides a list of commands that have been recently used on the action line. Press Alt+U to open the Utility Dialog Bar. If necessary, press Alt+U again to activate the Actions tab (or click on the Actions tab). Click (or double-click) on one of the displayed commands to execute the command.
