Footnote Wrap Separator: FW command

Nota Bene tries to put the entire footnote on the page where it belongs.  If it won't fit, the footnote will automatically continue (wrap) on the next page.  This next page is where the Footnote Wrap Separator is used.  If no footnote wrap separator is specified, Nota Bene will use the regular footnote separator for footnotes that continue on the next page.  The FW (Footnote Wrap Separator) command is very similar to the regular FS (Footnote Separator) command, but with one difference: FW defines footnote separators only for footnotes that wrap, or continue, from the previous page.  You may, for example want your footnote wrap separator to be a row of hyphens, underlines, or asterisks, followed by the text: (continued) to indicate that the footnote is continued from the previous page.

1Move the cursor to the top of your document (it must be before the first footnote).
2Press F9 to access the action line.
3Type fw (or fw1)
4Press F10 to open the footnote wrap separator window.
5The footnote wrap separator window will appear at the bottom of your screen.  Type the text for the footnote separator, including carriage returns (Enter) for blank lines.  Then press F3 to close the footnote wrap separator window and complete the creation of the footnote separator.

To issue the above command with respect to footnotes in series 2 or 3, substitute FW2 or FW3 for FW.
