Immediately after generating an index, a dialog will come up that allows you to change the style and appearance of the table of contents you have generated. You can also call the dialog back up when you have a table of contents open.
To use the Table of Contents style adjustment dialog:
| 1 | Make sure a Nota Bene-generated table of contents is open in the current window. |
| 2 | Click Tools, Table of Contents, Adjust Style. |
| 3 | Click along the various tabs along the right side of the dialog to select which element to adjust. The changes will be reflected first in the "mini document" in the pane on the right. |
| • | In some of the "pages," the Font button gives you the option to apply the font setting to the words, the counter, the divider, etc. |
| • | "Extra Spacing" refers to vertical spacing. |
| 4 | Click OK to apply the changes. |
