The Bibliography/Reference List Sort Rules dialog will allow you to define parameters for sorting a bibliography or report, including the field to sort by, the treatment of spaces, and options for sorting authors, titles and/or years.
To create a customized sort rule definition:
| 2 | Click on the radio button to Alphabetize Using Custom Rules, and then click the Sort Rules button. The Bibliography/Reference List Sort Rules dialog will display. |
| 3 | Enter a name for the new set of rules in the Saved Rules text box. |
| 5 | Click Save to save the customized sort rules. |
To edit an existing set of sort rules:
| 2 | Click on the radio button to Alphabetize Using Custom Rules , and then click the Sort Rules button. The Bibliography/Reference List Sort Rules dialog will display. |
| 3 | Click on the Sort Rules you want to edit in Saved Rules text box. |
| 4 | Set the Field, Order, Type, Characters, and Options for your customized sort rules to your preferences. |
| 5 | Click Save to save the customized sort rules. |
