Using the Index Mark Toolbar to Search for Marked Items

The Index: Mark toolbar can be used to search for terms that have already been marked. Open the toolbar by clicking Tools, Page Indexes, Marking Options, or by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F8.

You can either search forwards or backwards for:

Other instances of the word in the "Heading" textbox (if that textbox is empty, it will search for the word in the "Text as Found in File" textbox).
Existing index marker commands (i.e., for the IM|IE codes already embedded in the file). Select Entry from the dropdown to the right of "Find Previous/Next:"

Regardless of whether you are searching for other instances of the current term, in order to mark them, or for existing index markers, you can search body text only, notes only, or both body text and notes.  Select the elements you wish to search from the dropdown to the right of "Find Previous/Next"

When searching notes forwards, when no (more) instances are found in the note, the note window is closed automatically, and the search continues forward.  When searching notes backwards, when no (more) instances are found in the note, you will need to close the note window (with F3 or by clicking on the icon) before continuing your search backwards.
