Phrase Library: Append

Text can be added or "appended" to text that has already been assigned to a phrase library key.

1Type the text to be appended or find it in your document and define it. This step can be omitted if you prefer to type the text directly into the dialog box. See step 4.
2 Click Edit, Phrase Library, Append or press Alt+F2. The Phrases: Append dialog will appear.
3 Specify the key to be assigned to the text in either of the following ways:
Type the letter or number of the key you want to assign to the text (a-z or 1-9 using the keys at the top of your keyboard, not the numbered keys on the side of your keyboard).
Scroll through the list in the top part of the dialog and highlight the key you want to assign
4The text to be appended will be in the box at the bottom of the dialog. You can edit it directly in this box, or if you skipped step 1 above, you can type the text into this box. Note that Nota Bene will not automatically add a space. You may need to begin the text that you are appending with a space.
5Click Append to add the text, or Cancel to cancel.
