Lingua Character Inventory (Hebrew)

Hebrew vowels and cantillations can be added to Hebrew text by using the Lingua Character Inventory or by using the F6 compose key. The screens shown in the character inventory and in the F6 pop-up screen are mirrors of each other. The character inventory provides details such as the name of the cantillation. Due to the small size of the cantillations, the name may be helpful in identifying the correct cantillation. For prose and poetry cantillations (subgroups 3 and 4 under the Hebrew Alphabet), prepositives are shown in red, postpositives are shown in green and conjunctions are shown in gray. The same colors are used in the F6 pop-up screen.
