If you have been using Library Master bibliographic software, records can be imported into your Ibidem database from your Library Master database.
The first step is to use Library Master to create an export file that contains the records that you want to import into your Ibidem database.
| 1 | Open the Library Master database containing the records you want to import into Nota Bene. |
| 3 | Make sure that the File Type in the Export-dialog is "Library Master Tagged Text." |
| 4 | If you want to change the default Export File Name, click Select to choose a new Export File Name |
| • | Choose any filename (remember the location and name of this file, since you will need to use it later) |
| 5 | Choose whether you want to export the whole database, the displayed records or a subset of the database. If you want to export a subset, check "Subset of the database," click Select, choose which subset to export and click Save. |
Once your export file is created, use the Import Records dialog to import the records. Open Ibidem, open the database to which you wish to add the records and click File, Import Records. For more detailed instructions on this dialog, see Importing Records.
