If auto hyphenation is active, you can override it for a single word. If you do not want the word to hyphenate at the end of a line, you can place a soft hyphen just before the word. Press Ctrl+[-] (using the -/_ key at the top of your keyboard). You can also use the menus to do this as follows:
| 1 | Place your cursor on the word that you do not want to hyphenate. |
| 2 | Click Proof, Hyphenation |
| 3 | The Hyphenation dialog will appear. |
| 4 | Click the Prevent Auto Hyphenation of Current Word box. |
