Full Window (toggle)

The part of the screen devoted to displaying the open document can be increased by clicking View, Full Window (Toggle) or by pressing Ctrl+Shift+W. The toolbars, rulers, the action line and the status line will all be hidden and the screen area for the open document. This affects the open document only. This is a toggle, meaning that the same keystrokes will reverse the action (returning the display to the default screen),

The display can permanently be altered to allow more space for the open document by removing some of the toolbars, rulers, the action line or the status line. See Interface Options.

Another way of making more area on the screen available for viewing and editing text is to hide the margins. See Show/Hide Margins.
