Editing Frames/Graphics in Place

Frames and any graphics contained in them can be edited in place.

Move: To move the frame and the image that it contains, hold down the left mouse button while you click on and drag the image/frame to a new location. Text, if any, will wrap around the frame in the new location.

To access more options for editing, click on the image or object that you wish to edit. When you click on the image, you will see the image surrounded by boxes with two sets of handles. The inner dark lines with blue box handles at the corners and edges define the frame. The outer light lines white diamond handles define the white space around the frame. Text that wraps around the frame will be separated from the frame by this space. The image, frame and space around the frame can be edited as follows:

Add Captions: Click at the top or bottom of the image where is says "Click Here to Add Caption or Text" and type in text for a caption at the top or bottom of  the image.
Resize: The black line with the blue boxes in the corners and edges is the frame. Place cursor on blue boxes at corners or edges, hold down left mouse button and drag to resize the frame and the image within the frame.
Adjust the inset (the amount of white space around frame): Place cursor on white diamonds, hold down left mouse button and drag to change the amount of space around the frame. This will result in more or less space between the frame and any text that wraps around the frame.
Crop: Click on the image a second time, and you see the outline around the edges of the image with gray boxes at the corners and edges. Place cursor on one of the gray boxes, hold down Ctrl as well as the left mouse button and drag to crop the image. The image and not the frame will be cropped. When you are finished, you can resize the frame.
