Spelling System
•The first option, Enable Multilingual Spelling, is the default, and should be used by virtually everyone, even those who only use English. •The second option will revert to the spelling system and dictionary that was used in version 8 of Nota Bene. You should make this selection only if you used version 8 and have some reason to prefer it. In general, most users will prefer to use the new version 9 system.
Function of the Ctrl+Shift+? key
In Nota Bene version 8 (and previous versions) placing your cursor on a word and pressing Ctrl+Shift+? looked up the work in the thesaurus. This is still the function of this key combination unless you change it. In this version of Nota Bene, you can assign any of the following functions to the Ctrl+Shift+? key:
•Looks up word in thesaurus •If word is flagged as a misspelled word, adds the word to primary user dictionary; otherwise, looks up in thesaurus •If word is flagged as a misspelled word, lets you add word+replacement pair; otherwise, looks up in thesaurus •Serves as shortcut to Proof, Spell File/Block.
