BookWhere

If you have been using BookWhere, records can be imported into an Ibidem database. Consult your BookWhere documentation for help on downloading records and exporting the records to a file in the Ibidem format. When you export the downloaded records, you will create an export.txt file that can then be used to import the records into your Ibidem database.

Once your export file is created, use the Import Records dialog to import the records. Open Ibidem, open the database to which you wish to add the records and click File, Import Records. For more detailed instructions on this dialog, see Importing Records.

Archiva provides an alternative to BookWhere which is fully integrated into Ibidem, making it much easier to import records from internet sources directly to your personal bibliographic database. For more information, see Archiva.
