Transpose Text

Nota Bene provides an easy way of transposing letters, words, sentences or paragraphs.

Letters:  Press F11 to transpose two letters or other characters.  Place your cursor between the two letters you want to transpose.  If your cursor is between two standard characters (e.g., letters or numbers), those two characters will be transposed.   If your cursor is after two standard characters and before a separator (e.g. a space, period or parentheses), the two characters before the cursor will be transposed.  Example: If you type teh and meant to type the, place your cursor between the e and the h and press F11 to transpose the two letters.

Words:  Press Ctrl+F11 to transpose two words.  Place your cursor on the second of the two words you want to transpose.  If your cursor is between the end of a word and the following space or other separator, then Nota Bene will transpose the two previous words.  If your cursor is between a space and the next word, then Nota Bene will transpose the word before the space and the word after the cursor.

Sentences:  Press Shift+F11 to transpose two sentences.  Place your cursor between the two sentences you want to transpose or on the second of the two sentences.

Paragraphs:  Press Alt+F11 to transpose two paragraphs.  Place your cursor on the second of the two paragraphs you want to transpose.  Nota Bene will transpose the paragraph with the cursor on it with the preceding paragraph.
