Sharing a Customized Style Manual

Customized style manuals can be moved to a second computer or shared with colleagues who use Nota Bene.

To send your customized style manual to second computer:

1	Click File, New, and select the style manual.

2	The list of associated files will be shown in the Document Explanation panel. These are the files that need to be copied to the second computer (or emailed to a colleague).

3	Copy the files identified in step 2 to the Nbwin folder on the second computer (NOT the Nbwin\Users\Default folder).

4	On the second computer, click Format, Style Manual. You or your colleague should see the style manual that you have created as one of the options; it will also appear the next time you go to the File, New dialog.

When you click Format, Style Manual, the files are moved to the Nbwin\Users\Default folder. They will also, be renamed if necessary. for example, if the second computer already has files with the same name (e.g., CUSTOM_X, where X is a letter or a single digit number), the X would be replaced with an unused letter or number.
