The Research Results Table is tailored for use in research papers that use academic manuals of style like Chicago, Turabian or APA. When you create a research results table, the correct borders are automatically added. In addition, it adds the elements of the table's critical apparatus including the means to add sources (linked to Ibidem), notes, probability values, etc.
To create a research results table.
| 1 | Place your cursor where you want the table to begin. |
| 2 | Click Format, Tables, Create. The Tables dialog will appear on the right side of your screen. The Dock option at the bottom of the dialog allows you to lock the dialog in place. Click to check or uncheck the Dock box. Your selection will be remembered the next time you open the Tables dialog. |
| 3 | Select Standard Table or Research Results Table and then click the Create New Table button. |
| 4 | The Create Table dialog will appear on your screen and can be used to select settings for the table. See Create Table Dialog. |
