Printing a Group of Files: PRINT @

In general, it is best to use the Manuscript File feature to combine and print multiple files. See Manuscript Files. The following method of printing multiple files was developed for NB DOS and is still available in this version of NB Windows.

The process of printing a group of files is a two phase one:  First, a parent file must be created. This is a master file containing only the names of the files you desire to print as a group.  Second, the parent file is printed using the print @ command.

Creating the Parent File

Ensure that you know the path, name and extension of all files to be included as part of the printed group.

1Open a new file
2Type the names of the files you desire to print as a group
If you want the files treated as individual documents, with independent page numbers, etc., press after each filename
If you want the files treated as a single document, with a continuous run of page numbers, etc., separate the names with a space and press at the end of the set
3Save and close the file
