Insert Filename: VA command

The VA (Value) command can be used to insert a file name into the body of the file, or into a header, footer or footnote. You can insert the filename only or the filename with the full path or location of the file.

1	Place the cursor at the point where you want to insert the filename.

2	Press F9 to access the action line.

3	Type one of the following commands:

VA $FI/F to insert the name of the file.

VA $FP/F to insert the name of the file and the full location of the file.

4	Press F10 to implement the command.
