When a an image is imported the entire image is incorporated. It is possible to eliminate portions of the graphic by specifying crop size. To crop a graphic at time of importing:
| 1 | Move the cursor to the position in your document the graphic will appear. |
| 2 | Press F9 to access the action line. |
| 3 | Type IG filename.bmp,cr=.55inx.55in 1.5inx1.5in where filename.bmp is the graphic to be imported. The first set of values defines the upper left corner of the area you want to include. Measure from the upper left corner of the entire image to the upper left corner of the part you want to use. The second set of values defines the size of the area to incorporate. Measure the width and height of the area you want to include starting at the coordinates determined for the upper left corner. |
| 4 | Press F10 to import the cropped graphic. |
If you decide to crop the graphic after including it in your file, you would need to switch to Show Codes View (press Shift+F8) and add the CR command inside the IG command.
