Text that has been copied from the web or from e-mails often has hard returns at the end of each line. To remove these hard returns, converting a block of text into a paragraph:

Define the block of text to be converted to a paragraph.

Click Edit, Convert, Lines to Paragraph or press Ctrl+Shift+Delete.
