The Nota Bene File Open and Save As dialogs include panes that can be used to find the drive, folder, subfolder(s) and file that you want to use. Other Nota Bene dialogs may have a browse button that allows you to select a file. Windows File Explorer works the same way.
To browse through the drives and folders on your computer, open the File Open dialog (or other dialog that allows you to select a file).
| • | Click the plus sign to the left of any drive or folder in the left window to expand the display to include any subfolders. |
| • | Click the minus sign to the left of any drive or folder in the left window to contract the display, hiding any subfolders. |
| • | Click any folder to open it. When open, the folder icon will change so that it looks like an open folder and any subfolders and files in the open folder will be shown in the window on the right. |
| • | Click any file in the right window to select it. |
| • | If necessary, use the scroll bar on the right side of the dialog to move through the the area that is visible in the window. |
