Ibidem offers an option () to retrieve and display book cover images. accessed under Links, Book Cover Images

Book covers can be downloaded on demand/command

Alternatively, book covers can be downloaded automatically — in the background — whenever a record that contains an ISBN number is selected

Once downloaded (either manually, or automatically), book covers can be shown either/and:

To the left of the preview (in what turns out to be the most economical use of screen real estate, auto resizing as the preview pane is resized)

In a separate docked or popup book cover pane
